HEALTH INTERESTS:

Back Pain, facet and S1 Joint problems, FM, Sciatica, Failed fusion

DRUGS I AM TAKING:

percocet, soma, cymbalta, wellbutrin, morphine

ABOUT ME:

I live in CT, and I injured my back originally in 1995. I had my first back fusion to L5/S1 then. I had my second fusion done last August on L4/L5. I still live in chronic pain and I go to a Pain and Spine Center for injections every 4 months. The latest injections were to my Facet, S1, lower back and in the area of L3-L5. I also had injections into some of my muscle spasms. My Orthopedic wants the Pain & Spine Center to evaluate me for the Spinal Cord Stimulator, but the Pain Dr. doesn't want to do this right now, because it would mean more surgery on my back. I attended this Pain and Spine Center for the past three yrs. so they know my history well. At the present time I am not working, becasue I can't sit or stand long. I do have tingling going down my left leg and it stops at my knee. I have applied for Social Security Disability and I am fighting to get that. I would love to correspond with Other's that live in chronic pain.
