I had a test by tact about a month ago and found to be bigger so the urologe schedulle a biopsy and I am not sure is required.

I do not have any family with cancer as I can say and wondering if this is my case.

After the est I had experince something that have to do with leaks coming form the rectum or penice not sure. I put tolitet paper and is hard to detect with that method where is coming from.

Please advise if the leaking have any relathinship with the enlargment of prostate.

Thank you very much for the comments and recomendations.

My psa is steadly increasing from 3.9 to 8.11 in past 2 & 1/2 years. Had 2 biopsies with no sign of cancer, i'm 54 years old. Should I try medication before a 3'rd biopsy?

I am just wondering because my father has enlarged prostate, but still his PSA is ok (a little bit elevated) but within the high limit. If PSA is back to normal, should we be safe he is not at risk for prostate cancer? Is the biopsy a must or should rely only on digital examination? (his digital examination showed an enlarged prostate but with a normal consistency).
