High PSA Count

I am 81 and in excellent health, with as much vim, vigor, agility and stamina as 30-40 years ago (honestly) I do "resistance training" with weights regularly and have for many years.

My PSA count has been steadily rising over the past several years and has reached 14 (!) which seems a cause for alarm. I have been advised to have a biopsy but am unwilling to do so for a good many reasons. I have none of the common symptoms other than the PSA count, enlarged prostate (no lumps) and more or less a need to pass water once or twice during the night - but which has been the case since childhood.

I am following the "Budwig" regime, developed by Dr. Johanna Budwig, an eight-time Nobel nominee. (Look up Dr. Budwig and give me your views.)I also take Lycopene. Saw Palmetto, Pomegranite Extract, Selenium. What do the other forum members feel about "watchful waiting" and abstaining from biopsy ?

Many thanks . . .
