Every time I ejaculate there seems to be blood in my semen. Sometimes it is reddish, sometimes it is brownish. My primary care physician said it is nothing to be worried about. I went to a urologist and he did an examination of my scrotum and checked my prostate and said everything appeared to be okay, but I would think there is something to stop this from happening. It seems to be every time, not just a once in a while thing. Please offer any information you may have.

Dr Jay Motola, a urologist and resident expert here recently did an article about blood in semen. You can read the article here. Dr. Motola says there is really nothing to be concerned about if there are no other underlyings injuries or conditions.
