I have an enlarged prostate and started taking Proscar when I was 59 at that time I had a psa level of 2.71 my psa gradually decreased to .089 4 years latter and after a micro wave preocedure. My Dr then had me stop taking proscar at age 64, 6 months latter my psa was 3.12 and  one year latter, today, it is 3.2. Obviously the velocity of increase in my PSA could be a concern but I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar expericence after stopping the use of Proscar or a related drug.
