Intermittent Prostate Bleeding with any signs of Prostate Cancer

I have some evidence of prostate bleeding (a red tint to my semen) which comes and goes. My PSA is .5 and my urologist, after testing, assures me that everything looks fine. Is there a potential cause of prostate bleeding that is NOT cancer that I should be concerned with?

Hi bafried,

Good news! Most everything I read about blood in semen says it's nothing to worry about. Of course no online site takes the place of your doctor's advice, but apparently this is a common happening. You can read Dr Jay Motola's article here that addresses the issue.
