small perenial bump or hpv (wart)?

By kpsony Tuesday, March 18, 2008
its small, and white but there is no irritation at all and there is only one.  does this automatically make it a wart?  Could it be anything else?

Dr Marc Greenstein wrote an article that mentions Cryoablation, which can cause some side effects, including ED. You can read more of the article, here. You can also get more information here.  Nothing here is meant to take the place of your doctor. If you think you have contracted HV, contact your doctor immediately.

Stay in touch and let us know what the doctor says and how you are doing!

Hi Kpsony,

First let me apologize for my response below. Not sure how that happened, but that was obviously a response to a different post.

There is a section here that refers to rectal itching and there is a description of genital warts. You can check to see if anything here appears to match what you are experiencing. You can also look through the symptoms database to see if there are symptoms you are experiencing that might or might not be serious.

As always, nothing takes the place of your doctor's advice, so if this concerns you, you should make an appointment to see your doctor.

Take care and let us know how you are doing!

Genital warts are often categorized as part of sexually transmitted diseases. The genital skin infection is caused by HPV or human papilloma virus. There are several types of HPV, but one out of three cases of HPV infection is said to be a result of sexual contact transmission. Millions of people around the world are suffering from genital warts, and this is why treatments on HPV warts have been steadily increasing and advancing in the past few years.
