One of the most persuasive arguments against "watchful waiting"--taking no action on slow-growing prostate cancer contained to the gland until circumstances change--is that the anxiety of knowing there's a cancer down there is too much to bear. A surprising new study shows that, at leas...
  1. How about Prevention?

I never understood "watchful waiting." Why would a doctor tell a patient to go home and do nothing but wait?  How about prevention, like supporting the immune system, which is the bodies primary line of defense. Basic health "land mines" can easily be avoided, like dehydration, acidosis, and nutritional deficiency, which are the precursors to most dis-ease.

Balanced pH is a very basic thing -- we all know plants need the right pH soil -- but we don't think about the foods we eat in terms of pH because we aren't told about it. Enzymes are a most basic source of nutrition. Without enzymes we would die. But most people have never heard of enzymes, and most non-organic foods are lacking enzymes from depleted soil, food processing, and radiation, etc.! Is it a coincidence that there are no profits to be made in prevention, verses billions of profits through the sale of drugs and surgeries? The American Cancer Society claims the cancer rate among men has now climbed to 1 in 2! Something is wrong here folks, and I for one don't believe in coincidences!
