Rising PSA after prostate cancer treated by radiation (external beam)

What should I do as my PSA rises?? My doctor says just wait. I am 75 yrs old. Is that the proper thing to do? what other tests, treatment do I need?

Any advice or reccomendations will be appreciated. Aloha, Manuel Silva

Sit tight for now. But, if the PSA starts to creep above 2.0 ng/ml, you should consider having a repeat biopsy to see if there is residual cancer.
