It is June 2nd, and I am standing in the middle of a dusty street in the one-horse town of Pecos, New Mexico. Across the road is the Pecos Trading Company, where hand-tooled leather saddles sit side by side with Stetson hats and old phonograph records, struggling to catch the tourist's eye. Wild flow...

This is a great Blog - really informative and from the heart!  Thank you for sharing your stories with us.

I'm realitively new to the world of blogs but came across across an interesting site with a variety of health articles called www.cabbagesandcream.com, another good one, more specific to the prostate cancer is http://www.healthcentral.com/prostate/c/64/.

Please keep up the fantastic work you have done by spreading real world information on a topic that needs as much knowledge sharing as possible.

    thanks

Hi I’m writing to inform you that I have selected your blog to be featured on my new website www.masskickers.com. As the power of the internet provides more information about one’s new diagnosis, the need for an online health store for the newly diagnosed patient and their loved ones has emerged. Patients are continually looking for information online. mAss Kickers will fulfill this need by offering links to diagnosis specific organizations, offer informational books by leading experts, and inspirational books by survivors of specific diagnoses to provide knowledge, courage, and strength in unity through this intimidating process.

    mAss Kickers strives to:

    • Promote courage for patients and their loved ones through unity and a fighting attitude.
    • Offer support for the newly diagnosed patient, current patients, loved ones of patients, and survivors via a unique diagnosis specific discussion board
    • Empower patients, their loved ones, and most importantly the newly diagnosed patient through knowledge
    • Offer diagnosis specific books for purchase written by leading experts and inspirational survivors
    • Offer links to diagnosis specific organizations
    • Provide links to informational and inspirational videos for specific diagnoses.
    • Fundraise for research and support in diagnosis specific organizations

If you would like me to remove you please contact me.  Check it out! I’d love to hear from you in the forum.

  3. Hope from a High grade PIN prostate

Hi Cristopher. I hear your "fear" and relate to all the rapid thoughts when a pain or something unknown or unexpected occurs, wondering what it means. I have high grade PIN ( a precursor to prostate cancer); 80% go on to prostate cancer after the first year. I am on my 4th biopsy result today ( what they call a blast biopsy, 24 taken of the prostate). aFTER 5 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS NO CANCER.

Here is my message. I went after the HIGH GRADE PIN AGGRESSIVELY WITH AN ALTERNATIVE healing process. for example, I drink 32 ounces of vegetable juice ( broccli, cauliflower, parsley, Rosemary, aplles and cranberry juice etc.) every day, take ground flaxseed, curcumin,  ( good stuff that is having great results with bone cancer and many many others in cluding prostate). I eat all organic foods. The concept is placing ALL good things in the body and keeping all the BAD out. Not only have I kept prosstate cancer away but my tiryglicerides are way down ( 92), blood pressure is 105/62, etc etc. It takes incredible discipline but I feel great. I am 64 years of age.

THE BIG issue is that I HAVE SOME CONTROL over this damn thing.......it really helps reduce the anxiety and stress. Look up CAULIFLOWER, BROCCLI AND CURCUMIN , PROSTATE HEALTH on your computer and read some "very good news." Also look under POMEGRANITE juice and prostate cancer. for some more good news. If you have an interest in learning more please contact me by email.
