My 83 year old father has been undergoing Lupron therapy for the past year. When treatment started his PSA was 4200 and it had spread to his bones. His PSA dropped to 1.6, but on last testing it had started to increase to 2.1. Does anyone know margin of error on PSA test? How fast can he expect the PSA to increase now that it has apparently started upward?
