I had a TURP in August of 2006 at age 56 and  when it was not sucessful, had a revision TURP three weeks later. After still not much improvemnt I had TURP 3 in December of 2006. My urologist said when I asked about RETROGRADE EJACULATION that "IT will still feel the same(at climax)."  I have had MAJOR sensation loss since TURP one and the feeling at climax if it was a "10" before the TURP is now at best a "2 or 3"---I have read in my post surgical research that other men have had similar feelings...

Do you know of any research on this? When I have asked my urologist at EVERY visit these past 9 months about it, he has shrugged his shoulders and said "new to me"---This is NOT what I had expected to feel like sensation wise for the next 20 years and had I known how different it would be, I would have NOT done a TURP at all. I experienced RETROGRADE EJACULATION while taking Flomax but sexual sensation was NOT significantly  changed by the drug....surgery has made a DRASTIC change....After 9 months, noting has improved sensation wise.
