About Me

I suffered an on-the-job injury in late 2003, causing rupture of L5-S1 disc, and had fusion in early 2006. I have been labeled a 'drug-seeker' by many pain clinics, before they knew that I actually suffered a tangible injury. I began experiencing leg and lower back pain, was told by my employer that it was not related to the injury in '03, and am now fighting to get Worker's Compensation benefits. The Sate of New Mexico decided at the time of the injury that it was an acceptable injury, accepted the claim, and now won't acknowlege any claim at all. I am involved in this forum due to complications resulting from nerve damage and symptoms relavent to this area of medicine. Everything 'south of the navel' is affected, and seek pertinent information from others who are knowlegeable in this area.
