Dear Dr. Motola,

Can you still have bone pain even if your PSA is 0 and you are on Lupron?

With a PSA of 0 while being maintained on Lupron it is not likely to have bone pain from metastatic prostate cancer. Bone pain can be multifactorial and may not be related to prostate cancer. If you previously had metastatic disease to the bone, it is possible that this could be the source of your pain. An MRI or bone scan would be a good idea to address your bone pain.
