I noticed today that when I ejaculated i had some blood in my semen i am a 51 year old man could this be a sign of prostate problems ?

Pink semen, what's wrong?

It has only happened twice, and most of what I've read tells me not to worry and that it is probably nothing big... But it is definately scary. Every time I ejaculate there seems to be blood in my semen. Sometimes it is reddish, sometimes it is brownish. My primary care physician said it is nothing to be worried about.
