Androgel and Elevated PSA

About 6 months ago I started on Androgel for low testosterone. My baseline PSA was 1.3. Now, 6 months later it has number to 2.5. Does this mean I have the beginning symptoms of prostrate cancer because the hormone made what could have been dormant now florid? I am concerned about the velocity here. Father's PSA

My 83 year old father has been undergoing Lupron therapy for the past year. When treatment started his PSA was 4200 and it had spread to his bones. His PSA dropped to 1.6, but on last testing it had started to increase to 2.1. Does anyone know margin of error on PSA test? How fast can he expect the PSA to increase now that it has apparently... Androgel great ! / PSA goes to 4.1/ Cancer found
