Androgel and Elevated PSA

About 6 months ago I started on Androgel for low testosterone. Father's PSA

My 83 year old father has been undergoing Lupron therapy for the past year. When treatment started his PSA was 4200 and it had spread to his bones. His PSA dropped to 1.6, but on last testing it had started to increase to 2.1. Does anyone know margin of error on PSA test? Androgel great ! / PSA goes to 4.1/ Cancer found
