Q: Post Green Light Treatment Effects

I have had a history of BPH since my fourties and now that I am sixty I have had two green light treatments. The last one was done two years ago. I know my doctor was aggressive when I had my second procedure and I thought all along that this was the cause of my continous bleeding and blood clots. This was on and off, but at least once a month I would experience these type of discharges. However, I have noticed that regular exercise or after a good hour of jogging, when urinating, it was just bloody. Last March I had a rectal check-up and for about three weeks the blood traces and blood clots were frequent. I was concerned and my doctor was puzzeled as well. So he just opted to recommend proscar. The condition has somewhat subsided and I generally urinate fairly well and without hesitation. I just wonder if the medication should eliminate the bleeding and blood clots all together. Also, I would like to know it this post operative symtoms are normal.

Thanks,

Alfredo
