Q: can I use viagra if I have had Brachytherapy

10 yrs. ago I had Brachytherapy .My PSA is still elevated at times.I do have urges but I cannot have an erection. I am 70 yrs. old. I take Macardis and colesteral medication and I am on insulin for type 2 diabetis.I also have a pacemaker. I would like to try viagra or cialis at least once . Would it be risky?

Thank you for your question. I would highly recommend that you speak with your doctor about your interest in Viagra or Cialis. With all your medical conditions, it may be best that you avoid such medications, as they could increase the stress already on your heart. It seems that you've already had heart problems, so you would probably want to avoid any more stress on your heart at this point. However, you should ask what your doctor thinks about the situation.
