Can you please tell me if it is okay to have the odd glass of beer/wine a couple of times a week whilst on flomax,

The occasional glass of beer or wine while on Flomax should not result in any serious side effects. Remember that alcohol will have a both a diuretic effect as well as a direct stimulus to the bladder, offsetting some of the benefits that Flomax will be providing.
