3 month history of urinary burning folowing insertion of a foley duringa 5 hr surgical procedure
upon awaking in the OR, I was screaming in pain with severe urinary burning. It has been a 3 month history of good periods ( several days) followed by mild burning compared to the 1 st day and frequent urge to urinate.No help with pyridiumn
I have seen 2 urologists , with negative urine cultures and a prostate that is non tender.
I have tried alkaliinizing my urine with tums, avoiding acidic foods, taking flomax.
I would appreciate any help with what the the next step should be done, Dr Fred
