Can I simply stop taking Uroxatral?

Topics:Uroxatral

I'm taking Uroxatral. 10mg. Daily. I question it's effectiveness. The dizzyness I experience when standing is problematic. So, I'd like to DC. Can I simply stop, or do I need to taper off.

Thanks.

Hi Clay,

Thank you for your question. You should not discontinue any medication without first speaking to your doctor. Tell him or her what you are experiencing and that you do not want to continue taking the medication any more. He or she might suggest another medication for you and should be able to tell you how best to stop the Uroxatral. If the doctor is hesitant, be persistent with your desires to stop.

Best of luck,

Casey
