Q: Is Flomax my only answer?

I'm 65, had my prostate digitally examined by my Dr. this past week, have a barely enlarged prostate, have no problem starting/stopping urinating, albeit the strenth of my urine stream has somewhat declined. My problem: When I stop, I retain about a tablespoon or so of urine in my bladder, which I sense, and which I can pee out most  times a couple to three minutes or less (mostly less) after stopping. However, there are those times, mainly in public settings, when I cannot pee out into a urinal what is retained, and which will leak out into my briefs. What treatments should I consider?  Flomax has been prescribed.  However, I am particularly leary of a drug that will cause dizziness and possibly fainting.  If I go with the Flomax, is my leariness warranted; and how long would I expect to be on that medication?  What minimal treatment alternative are there?
