I was diagnosed with BPH - I'm 41 -After being on for only about 2 months, I went off as me and my wife are considering having another child.  I know it says to be off Avodart for 6 months, but I was only on for a couple months, and now off for almost 3 - Wondering if it's safe to try to get pregnant.

Gregg,

I would go by the recommendation of 6 months. Even though you only took the medication for a few months, it could be stored up in your fat or muscle cells and take some time to work out of your system. Better to play it safe!

Best of luck,

Casey
