Q: Could a prostatic cyst be large enough to push the small intestine into the scrotum?

I had blocked urine flow and severe pain radiating up the sciatic nerve for a week and a half. I noticed something in my scrotum that didn't belong there, it felt like my small intestine (I could actually push it into my abdomen it I laid down)? I had a BM one morning and the urine flow, pain and portrusion in my scrotum disappeared. Could a prostatic cyst be large enough to cause this if I have a hernia?

A prostatic cyst can not cause the symptoms that you are having.  A bulge in the scrotum that can be pushed back up is most likely a hernia. The sciatic type pain however is not associated with a hernia and you may be having several different problems that are causing your symptoms.
