Q: How much concern should I have when my last PSA test went from .5 to 1.2 My doctor examined my Prostrate and stated that its size was normal

Is there any medication that you recommend? What other procedure do I need?

Although your PSA has doubled it is still in the normal range. Given that your examination is normal, there is no great need for immediate concern, however, you should have your PSA checked serially to see if there is a continuing upward trend.
