Q: Why do my testicles have lumps? Why is there a little bit of blood in my sperm?

I am 16 years old and my testicles have had lumps for a year and a half.I am just now wondering if I should be worried or is it just a normal thing. Also, during sexual activity, I notices for the first time that there was a little blood in my sperm. So Im not sure if there is something wrong or not.So if you could give me some information that would help me in my situation,I would appreciate it.Thank you

You should not have lumps in the testicles. If you are performing testicular self-examination, which you should be on a monthly basis, and if this represents a change compared to a prior self-exam, you should see a urologist for an examination. Blood in the semen is called hematospermia and is usually self limited. If it persists at your young age, this too should be addressed by a urologist.
