does an enlarged prostate cause paintful ejaculation?

I have had frequent and urgent urination for about a month now. ive been tested for uti and clamidia, they both came back negative. i am worried it might be enlarged prostate.i have all symtoms that lead me to believe this. in a few weeks i go for an ultra sound on my kidneys i guess the last resort is prostate because of my age. but i never feel relieved after urination. dont feel like i finished, feels like there is more coming but all it does is drip out. it even leaks a little after i am done a few drops here and there which is annoying. does anyone have any idea what this might be? i have had kidney stones before. and my sodium and chloride levels are high in the urine with a trace of blood that is all i know. i am wondering if an enlarged prostate causes painful ejaculation so that i can rule out enlarged prostate as to what is wrong with me because i do not have painful ejaculation.

Having not been giving your age makes this a little more challenging. Your symptoms are most likely going to be attributable to either an enlarged prostate or BPH. Both of these conditions could cause most of the symptoms that you are experiencing. It is unlikely that a renal sonogram will give you any useful information. A bladder sonogram and a visit to a urologist sounds like a more reasonable approach.
