Iseient with "wait & see" prostate cancer to undergo testosterone therapy?

My prostate cancer is confined to the prostate &no remedial actions are being taken, a "wait & see" situation.Meanwhile,I need a lot more testosterone to restore my flagging libido.Would testosterone therapy be dangerous, and if so, why?
