Hi Darlene,   Dr Matolo answered a users question regarding Flomax for women here. The user had been prescribed Flomax for Kidney Stones. Apparently the jury is still out as to whether it is a benefit or not. Read Dr. Motola's answer here. A member named PhD in Montreal, offered her experience with regard to Flomax and kidney stones. You can also read her response. However, I have not seen anything to suggest that doctors are prescribing this medication for incontinence. In fact, the opposite. Flomax is used to help increase the flow of urine in men. Casey McNulty is a resident expert and a pharmacist. She also does not recommend this medication for women. You can read her answer here. Here's the full drug information for Flomax.   I hope this helps. Take care and stay in touch!Vicki M
