Monday, July 14, 2008 Richard Packard asks

Q: Twice I had blood PRECEEDING the urine. 3 weeks ago. Why?

First, came a small amount of blood.

Then came the urine.

my PSA = 3.8

At the doctor's , I gave a urine sample = normal. He gave a digital prostate exam.  [it did not feel cancerous]

As I left his office, I again felt the need to urinate.  But it was a small amount of blood which came out first.

His pushing on the prostate surely caused the blood.

What might be wrong?

No more blood...just normal urination since.
