Green light laser surgery is a fairly safe procedure. It is very effective at reducing the volume of the prostate as well reducing the symptoms that patients experience. Urinary incontinence can occur that can be vboth transient and long-term. The short term incontinence is usually urge incontinence that can be successfully treated with medications and tends to be self-limited. The permanent incontinence, although uncommon, may occur and can be cured with surgical therapies such as male slings or an artificial urinary sphincter. Reply
