Q: bleeding after intercourse, sometimes severe

My husband has been to 3 different urologists for an ongoing problem. For the last couple of years he passes blood after intercourse. Two years ago he had bladder surgery to remove a benign tumor, and shortly after he was told he had a prostate infection.  He's been treated several times for infections, and has been told he has polyps on his prostate.  The bleeding does not always occur after each act of intercourse, but when it does he ends up passing large blood clots. He's been told he does not have cancer, but no one really seams to want to help him resolve the bleeding issue.  The last doctor said surgery was the only option on his first visit, but the next visit he prescribed Flomax and said he'd be fine. He's not fine. What should he do?
