About Kidney Stones and Flomax?

Dear Dr.

I had sepsis due to an internist letting an uti ongoing for over 2 months go into pylnephritits and then sepsis, luckily, I am am an RN, I ask him to do urine cultures as I kept getting sicker and sicker, started running temps of 101.3, 102.56, then 103.8..my fiancee then took me to the E.R. where the Chief of ER was called to examine me and I was delerious BUT told him the whole story about what had happened!  He then called my internist-the Chief of Internal Medicine-he said, "I am goint to West Palm Beach, Take care of it"...I could not hear, I could not see periphararilly, I was thinking that the er DR. was just talking but to WHO? At that point a person (nurse) came in and gave me a shot and I woke up 7 days later...my Chief of internal medicine walked in, very tanned with 14 medical students.needless to say , he is NO longer Chief of staff, my bladder has completely "shut down 6 times in 9 months, the stream will start to just dribble and then nothing and I have to have a foley put it, I have had urodynamics tests done; which show my ureter is distended and now I have kidney stones, I have a foley in now and am on Flomax...I started passing blood, hurting so bad and cramping,  was doubling over, then again dribbling, on CT exam,. it showed kidney stones , 3 about the size off a dime and 2 the size of a penney....I am in a lot of pain still and my Urologist game me Percocet 5/650...I am taking it as prescribed.  Also the Flomax...he said he believes the sepsis is a cause for the recurrent bladder infections?  I really do not know what to believe at this point.  I also was seen by an immunologist as I had esophegeal yeast and a negative aids test..my body produces it OWN yeast?  The Immunologist could not figure out why?  This was never like this until after the sepsis incidient.

Thank you for your time

Just want to know YOUR thoughts....the kidney stones really HURT!

Every time I have extreme pain and back pain and front low pain there is bright red blood in the foley, my urologist said , of course to keep the foley in, I have to pass them and then we will see what he is going to do....he is a VERY good urologist.
