Q: I have a hernia and BPH. Could the BPH caused the hernia? Also, is surgery the treatment most recommended for this situation?

It's an ingenial hernis.

Patients commonly can have both symptoms of BPH and also a physical finding of hernia. Some believe that if patients strain when they have to urinate, it is  possible that the hernia may have been caused by the BHP
