Q: 67 year old had green light prostate surgery after almost 8 weeks still significant blood discharge. Normal?

Had green light surgery seven and a half weeks ago. I'm 67. After six week check up things seemed fine. Almost next day had problems passing tissue (?). And since have been passing blood almost on a daily basis. Some times a day or more with no complications then out of the blue a very dark blood urination. One morning I had significant blood clot I had difficulty in passing. Since then still occasional red urin. Dr. says it takes a while to heal. Might have passed a scab. Should I be concerned?
