Q: urolaxtral

I'am older man with bph and bouts with incontinence went to uro dr when uti's came on they did a ultrasound on bladder was not emptying so was put on urolaxtral has helped the uti but not the incontinence.Question has anyone used this med and is this the only answer to the problem?

There are other medications used to treat incontinence. If you find that the Uroxatral isn't working for you, you may want to discuss other options with your doctor.

Uroxatrol is one of a series of drugs known as alpha-blockers that help relax the prostate and result in better bladder emptying.  If the incontinence persists while on the medication, other treatments will also be required.
