Q: AFTER HAVING HAD GREEN LIGHT SURGERY CAN THE "PULP" GROW AGAIN? IF SO, HOW FAST?

I had successful green light surgery about 18 months ago but feel that the symptoms that I had before are returning i.e. urgent need to urinate, waking up at about 3a.m. to urinate etc.

Is this what normally happens?

Regrowth of prostate tissue (the pulp) can definitely occur after any of the minimally invasive prostate procedures as well as a TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate). The new onset of symptoms, waking up at 3AM, can probably be treated with medications that prior to your previous procedure may not have been effective. One other thing to consider is behavioral issues such as drinking fluids in the evening hours.
