I am contemplating having this procedure done, but after reading all these negative comments it makes one wonder. But I think the problems are more related to the choice of Drs. I would not go to just any urologist to have this done, but to one who is associated with a teaching medical school. In the Boston area there are several. I am considering Brigham and Women Hospital, which is a Harvard Medical School hospital. I had a major heart op done a year ago at this hospital and can't stop raving about the place and its doctors. They have a first class urological deptment also and I am thinking of having Dr. O'Leary, whose field is BPH and stones. He is an Assoc. Harvard Professor there at Brigham. There are several superb urologists there. Google the hospital and its urologists. Goog luck.
