I am 66 & had this surgery 9 days ago (Nov. 2, 2010). I didn't have any of the problems you experienced early on after surgery. Went home with catheter, but I took it out the next morning. Initial severe pain with urination(weak stream & dribbles). Had pain meds., which took care of the pain. I am about where you were at day 12. No sex yet, but erections were taking place during night after surgery with catheter in place. Don't know about retrograde ejaculation yet. Dr. said this could occur in 30 to 40% of cases. I would recomend this procedure for anyone having to frequently urinate day & night as a result of an enlarged prostate gland.
