Hi All:  I had this surgery on 3/21/2012. Two days ago! Let me share this experience, and hopefully help those who face this same proceedure. First piece of advice IGNORE ALL THE CRAP ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS PROCEEDURE!! You read these horror stories and get yourself all worked up over NOTHING!!  I did this, and I was so aprehensive when I arrived at the hospital my blood pressure was through the roof. Ridicioulous! Calm down. This is NOT a big deal. There is little to NO pain, and very...VERY little bleeding. and guess what...It WORKS!! I had a great Dr. and I was in and out of the hospital in four hours. I had the Catheter removed yesterday. I feel fine today. I can pee and there is no PAIN.. NONE! The absolute worst thing about this entire procedure, was gettingthe tape off my thigh from the Catheter. That it! nothing more than that!
