Q: Overactive bladder through the night.

Hi,

I am a 29 year old male.

I need to go to the toilet at least once during the night. I havn't always had this problem it started ever since I had a kidney stone about 5 years ago. I got the stone broke up as it was to large to pass and was stuck in my ureter but since then I need to go to the toilet during the night sometimes as much as 3 times, is this normal as I did not have the problem before I had the kidney stone???

What you are describing is nocturia.  In all likelihood it is not related to your prior stone treatment.  You should be reevaluated by your Urologist for causes of nocturia.
