Post TURP surgery only urinate if I strain, not normal to me

As an age 54 male my urine flow was decreasing family doctor diagnoised enlarged prostrate. Went on Terazosin to help flow. Then had urinary tract infection that shut down urine flow. After urgent care referred to urologist. Infection cleared up couldn't urinate, tried self...
