Am 69 yrold with BHP; sometimes my ankles & feet become swollen and I have very frequent need to urinate, minutes, even. I read an article somewhere that it might be a liver problem

Hi Santos,

Because you have BHP Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, you might have been prescribed medications for treatment that will cause swelling. For instance, Terazosin is commonly prescribed and one of the listed side effects is swelling of the hands and feet

Online sites are great for getting the information you need to ask the right questions of your doctor when you see him/her, but should never take the place of your doctor's solid medical advice and care.

I hope this helps. Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!
