Please help me understand my PSA.

Please help me understand my PSA. I am 48, relatively healthy, still eat spicy foods, etc.  I was diagnosed with cancer and opted for the brachytherapy at the Chicago Prostate Cancer Institute.  During the year since my treatment, my PSA has fluctuated like crazy it peaked at 8.5 (started at 6.2), then dropped to 5.7.  My latest PSA 1 month later is up again to 6.7.  My biopsy showed inflammation as well as the cancer. Gleason score of 2, stage 1.  We attempted to treat the inflammation with antibiotics but to no avail.
