Q: is an enlarge prostate the origin of prostae cancer?
Enlargement of the prostate (BPH) is not the origin of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer and BPH can both coexist however there is no causality. The exact causes of prostate cancer are unknown, however, there is evidence for a genetic link in some cases.
