Q: prostate USG report.

i m 44 my USG report says" Prostate 22gms echopattern. no median lobe.grade 1 prostatomegaly.PVRU nil" is it normal & ok.

 

from last 18 months i am suffering from IBS.

during night i need to go for urine. from last few days i feel pain in my left abdomanal.

Usg report says kidneys normal. gb normal. pancreas normal, urinary bladder normal capacity with uniform wall thickness.PVRU nil.

well grade 1 or grade 2 enlargement of prostate is almost invariably found in man above 40 years and dos not have any significance unless and until it is causing obstruction to the flow of urine. ur post void is nill which suggest tht there is no obstruction. check ur blood sugar have a urine examination and culture to rule out chronic urinary tract infection.
