Hi I have had a swollen lymph node in the right side of my neck for over a month and don't know why. I went to the doctors about 3 weeks ago and was put on an antibiotic to try and clear up the problem. However that did not work, and now the lymph node has become very painful. I am constantly thinking and worrying about it even to the point that I can't sleep. I am scared it could be something serious but I am currently unemployed and have no medical insurance. I just want to make sure there isn't any way of clearing this up on my own before taking food out of my daughters mouth to go back to the doctors and be prescribed another perscription that isn't going to work......Help?????
