Can my vaginal estrogen cream be causing prostate problems for my husband?

The day after intercourse, he has pressure, the feeling of urgency, but the inability to urinate. This wakes him up 4-6 times and night and is accompanied by pain in the buttox area also. It takes weeks to go away; and it comes back again immediately after intercourse. He's had a biopsy, been put on four rounds of antibiotics for months at a time, and takes flomax regularly. He's seen three doctors who are all stumped.
