Several different categories of antibiotics are used by the treatment of antibiotics. Most common drugs that are used include cephalosporins (Keflex), fluroquinolones (Cipro, Levaquin) and sulfur containing antibiotics (Bactrim, TMP/SMX). It is important to use the antibiotic that the bacteria is sensitive today rather than just guessing which one to use.
