my 17 yr old son has had intermittent pain in the head of his penis for the past few months?

There are no visible symptoms. Lab work for possible STDs is negative. An ER dr. said it most be nothing b/c he couldn't see anything. The family dr. suggested OTC creams (gold bond, cruex), etc., but they do not help and sometimes cause more irritation according to my son. …
